Allan Walton is a registered psychotherapist and a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. He has 35 years of experience in assessing and treating chronic pain, mild to moderate brain injury and emotional response following trauma. He has over 25 years experience in providing vocational assessments for individuals with disabilities. He has an Honours BA in psychology and an MA in psychology from York University and is currently a candidate in a Ph.D. program in psychology. He has provided testimony as an expert in court and at arbitrations. He has published in the areas of chronic pain and learning behavior as well as social psychology..
Mary Friesen-Walton is a Psychologist, registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO). She obtained her Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University. She obtained her Master of Psychology degree from Adler Graduate Professional School in Toronto. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from York University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Brock University.
She also holds the designation of Canadian Certified Life Care Planner. She has worked for over twenty years with individuals with complex and catastrophic injuries, including chronic pain, brain injury, and emotional responses following trauma. She is experienced in completing psychological assessments and providing psychotherapy treatment to adults who are experiencing psychological distress. She has published in the areas of pain and disability. She holds various certificates in cognitive behaviour therapy.
Philip Miller is a duly qualified psychologist, registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. He obtained his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Waterloo in 1985. He has presented and/or published in the areas of psychovocational assessments in personal injury, clinical outcome, post-traumatic adjustment, and cognitive psychotherapy of chronic pain. He is co-editor of Beyond Cognitive Therapy: Approaches to Non-Traditional Populations. He has supervised psychological services in a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation clinic and has also operated a private practice. He is a member of the Ontario Board of Examiners in Psychology, the Canadian Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology, and the Canadian Association of Psychological Disability Assessors. He has testified as an expert in the Supreme, Provincial and District courts of Ontario.
Jiha Madiha Humayun is a Psychologist, registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO). She is currently a candidate in a Doctor of Clinical Psychology program. She holds a Master of Psychology degree from Adler Graduate Professional School in Toronto, as well as, an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Anthropology from University of Toronto. She is a member of the Ontario Psychological Association (OPA). She is experienced in completing assessments and providing psychotherapy treatment to adults who are experiencing psychological distress due to stressful life situations as well as due to injuries related to motor vehicle collisions. She has a certificate in EMDRIA-Approved Basic EMDR Therapy Training. She is fluent in Urdu and Hindi and has working knowledge with Punjabi.
Lance Mitson obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from McMaster University in 1968 and a Master of Arts degree in Psychology from York University in 1972. He began clinical practice in 1977. He has served at the WCB rehabilitation hospital where he was involved in treatment, assessment, and research. He has worked in private practice settings and has been involved in consulting to clinics, legal practices, insurance companies, and government agencies. He also was employed by a corporation providing rehabilitation and employee assistance services via the insurance community. He has extensive vocational rehabilitation experience at the rehabilitation hospital as well as in several private practice settings.
Ivan Tran is a Registered Psychotherapist, registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). He is currently enrolled in a Doctor of Clinical Psychology program at Adler Graduate Professional School in Toronto. He obtained a Master of Psychology degree from Adler Graduate Professional School in Toronto, and his academic credentials have been approved by the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO) leading to registration as a Psychological Associate. He completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto, with a double major in Neuroscience and Cell Systems Biology. He has over seven years of experience working with adolescents and adults in administering psychological, neuropsychological, psychoeducational, and psychovocational assessments, and he has worked extensively with individuals with complex injuries related to traumatic brain injuries, chronic pain, mood disorders and psychological distress. He is fluent in English and Cantonese.
