ASSESSMENT/TREATMENT SERVICES

Fox is an authorized provider of services under the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO)
and deals exclusively with an adult population in the following areas:

Psychological Assessment

Following in-depth clinical interview and review of all medical documentation, extensive psychological testing is conducted followed by a comprehensive report addressing issues including diagnosis, and treatment recommendations.

Vocational Assessment

Our vocational assessment measures aptitudes, skills and interests for clients in treatment where return to a previous occupation may be unrealistic or unavailable. A detailed report of results is prepared with specific vocational recommendations including potential for alternate employment or re-training.

Neurocognitive Assessment

Our neurocognitive assessment is designed for clients who have recently been seen for psychological assessment or are in treatment and are experiencing cognitive difficulties. These difficulties may include: poor short-term memory, reduced concentration or attention, word finding difficulties, fatigue with mental activity, slow processing speed, easily overwhelmed, poor emotional controls (impatience or easy to anger)

Assessment involves complete and extensive neurocognitive testing and is designed to address the factor that can affect cognition including traumatic brain injury (TBI), pain, fatigue or emotionality. Focus of this assessment is understanding leading to recommendations for treatment.
